I made a small experiment. Based on books for proper diets I made a chart for the products I need to eat. Regrettably for me the chart remained empty - such products do not exist. Here you can find some scratching criteria: Watch for preservatives in the food – If you do that you can scratch mass amount of food on the store shelves. You need to watch for fats and excessive carbohydrates. Watch for the type of the carbohydrates and not to eat “fast” carbohydrates – scratching another huge group. Consume food compatible to your blood type – scratching some foods selectively. You need food with fibers-you must not eat processed food –mass scratching again. Combining the written above with all the other advices in those books I simply can not find products for my weekly menu.

I have one alarm clock in a shape of turtle that I carry with me since my childhood. I don’t know how the clock is still alive but I am glad it had survived. I have him on my cupboard in my bedroom and it is the only clock that I will not kill for waking me up at the morning. Last month I found in one store
turtles metal wall art with very similar shape. I decided to take more care of my faithful companion and I decided to give him some company, so that he is not to be alone at home when I go to work. My wife is mocking me for these turtles but actually she likes them too. I really take care of my faithful companions.

I have the feeling that humanity is much more powerful than it used to be centuries ago. We fight diseases and hunger. We have buildings that are not dependant on atmospheric conditions, we live longer, and we travel fast around the globe and many more. Of course one can guess about many other things that we do and things that might be called mastering the environment. But I see also paradox in our achievements. We are getting more and more fragile. For instance you can take the simplest things that make our life easier – electricity, water supply and sewerage – they all come in mysterious way inside my house. If it was thousand years ago I would have build my house by my own. Now if electricity stops everything in my house is dead and I can do nothing to make it work. Everything is more complex and more fragile. We are loosing the simplicity and we are becoming more and more technologically dependent. I am not sure if this is so good.

I want to decorate my living room in a little different way than I have it now. I plan to put in use some metal art like, metal art wall decor as a start. I have there a tapestry and African wooden masks with some vases with dried flowers scattered but I am getting a little tired of this style lately. I think I will make a slight variations but it is yet to decide what to remove and what to keep. I think metal art will be corresponding to all the other things I have in this room now. But I must avoid elaborateness. For now I am sure only about this metal wall art and the idea for the rest is still not complete in my head, but it will be nice room when I finish redecorating it.

Sometimes when I touch something in the subway, or when I sit in the restaurant or even when I use the coffee machine in my office I think about how many people had touched this thing to which I am reaching right at the moment. I know my colleagues and it seems to me that they keep personal hygiene on a good level, but is it so in the subway. I have seen people that for sure are carrying some extra germs on their hands to enter in the subway. I know that my immune system can handle most of the germs I meet outside, but I know also that they are some of them that I can not handle with. Maybe I must wear gloves I will worry less then.

I will never understand which the right policy to behave at work is. I know how to behave and I have no problems at all, but still I want to know about the perfect strategy. Sometimes I am silent even I know people are not doing the right thing. For instance last time our office organizer decided to purchase for the boss something original for his birthday and she ordered some outdoor metal wall sculptures, hoping that he will hang them in his cabin that he use to visit sometimes. I think this was bad idea because this cabin is a place where he wants to get rid of all the troubles and having a gift from the colleagues there will always link his thoughts to his workplace. I saw a picture of his last vacation in the cabin and they were no any metal sculptures there. If we had purchased golf sticks for instance he should be happy and we should not have thrown our efforts in vain. Should I have explained my opinion for the gift then?
